The Jitterbug Junkies are Vancouver’s premiere swing dance performance team. We have been performing together since Spring 2003 and have gained respect in the dance community. We specialize in performing and instructing authentic swing dancing such as Collegiate Shag, Balboa, East Coast Swing, Charleston, Savoy and Smooth Style Lindyhop. The goal of the Jitterbug Junkies is to preserve the authenticity of these exciting historical dances.

The Jitterbug Junkies are a diverse group of performers with many years of dancing, instructing, choreographing, and performing experience. From Vancouver, to Victoria, to Seattle, the Jitterbug Junkies are regulars all over the Pacific Northwest dance scene.

All members of the team have invested countless hours, locally and internationally, in workshops and dance camps with the most distinguished of swing icons. Their diligence and hard work have earned us noteworthy competition standings and regular instructing employment for local swing dance venues. Members of the Jitterbug Junkies also have distinguished film, television, and stage credits.
